The serving table decor following my grandsons baptism. |
The cooler temperatures and our store bought fall color is a signal that the holidays are right around the corner. As a grandma that means it is time to start pulling out my special holiday attire. Yep, since becoming a grandma I don't just decorate my home for the holidays I decorate me too. I have acquired quite a collection of fall themed tops and Christmas sweaters. Wearing my festive clothing whether it be the 4th of July, Valentines, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas not only adds to my joy but to the holiday joy of the little ones who call me grandma too.
In just the past few weeks I have had ample opportunities to be in a variety of medical facilities. Dental offices, my husband's doctors office, my daughter's doctors office, oral surgeons, orthopedic docs, neurologists, radiology, the lab, the hospital, physical therapy, a surgical team, and to two vets. Thankfully, only two of these appointments were well visits for me.
One thing I know for sure is that I would be all over the whole scrub attire for work. It would be like getting to wear your pajamas to work and they could be really cute pajamas! Could there be anything more comfortable than cotton medical scrubs? I am quite sure I would have a set for every possible work day occasion. Pediatric scrubs would probably be my favorite. I always appreciated the cute scrubs worn by the medical staff of my children and grandchildren. The medical caregiver who wears cute scrubs seems to have a matching personality. I like that. Working in a vets office would open up many stylish scrub options. Of course, geriatrics could be a blast too.
When it comes to scrubs the options seem endless. http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/ With as much post-op and medical care that I have done for my two legged and four legged family members recently I am thinking a pair of scrubs in my own closet amid my holiday sweaters could be a really fun idea. After all, the medical caregiver who wears cute scrubs has that matching personality!
Scrubs are great to wear for lots of things for sure! I have 2 kids in the medical field, and my son gives me his cast off scrubs. I wear them to do messy crafts or painting, even yard work. They are fun, and comfy to wear. Yes, I think you need a pair; or two……
ReplyDeleteA great idea. And maybe inspiration for a future camp or party?
