Keeping the ol' Fire Burning

Being from the deserts of Arizona it was a real treat to get to spend a week in the cold white stuff in the mountains during the holidays. Another treat was being able to come in from the cold and warm up next to the fire.

My son in law purchased a truck load of firewood and he and my husband stocked the garage with enough wood to keep the fire burning all week long.

We had a couple of hardworking volunteers 

that kept the indoor wood box filled.

Our volunteers were just

 two and four years old.

One log at a time up a flight of stairs.

Then neatly stacked in the firebox.

Priceless!
